Jun 28, 2018 · Answered by Honest John. This is usually caused by sludge in the washer reservoir blocking the mesh filter for the pump. A quick fix is to get a hosepipe, shove it right into the bottom of the washer reservoir, hold it there, then get someone else to turn on the tap. That blasts all the crud out of the reservoir.
Aug 18, 2015 · Ford Focus - 59 reg - Windscreen washer not working - elekie&a/c doctor : usually on most cars ,there is a build up of sludge and crud in the bottom of the reservoir and this blocks the inlet filter to the pump.So you need to access the bottle ,which sits in the front wing,behind the bumper,to give it a good clean out.Lack of water flow may have damaged the pump.
